The Job:  Use your skills and experience to assist adults with disabilities to achieve their dream of a job in the community!       As an Employment Consultant you will network with local businesses—big and small—to find just the right job for each client.  Contact local employers to locate appropriate jobs in occupations of interest to the client. Assist employers to combine, recombine, or customize tasks appropriate for the client.  Develop assessment and job opportunities for clients. This position is highly visible in the community and may be the first, and sometimes only, contact local business owners will have with Morningside, so ensuring a positive view of the company and, by extension, our clients is of the utmost importance.  Your sales experience and ability to close the deal are a great start to a career helping others in your community!
Work is performed in the community and includes significant interaction with a variety of employers, funding sources, and stakeholders in a wide range of environments, including marketing, education, and making presentations.  Knowledge of the Thurston County business community a real plus.
